IMPORTANT CHANGES AFFECTING YOUR ABE ACCOUNTS

In early 2009, we informed you of our intent to convert to a new routing and transit number.

 Currently ABE uses a soon to be discontinued routing and transit number assigned to Northfork and/or Capital One Bank which is 021909478.  ABE’s new routing and transit number is 021484524. This change affects all ABE checking and money market checks reflecting routing and transit number 021909478 in addition to all electronic ACH transactions which you currently have set-up including online/internet banking (ABE’s bill payer service will not be affected by this transition) and by phone bill payments as well as payroll, social security and tax refund direct deposits.

 Also, as a result of this change, you will notice ABE’s new routing and transit number 021484524 reflected on all new and re-ordered ABE checking and money market account checks.  Soon all ABE checking and money market account checks must reflect this new number. ABE will notify those members with ABE checking and/or money market accounts needing replacement checks well in advance of the discontinuance of the existing routing and transit number.

 We anticipate the completion of this conversion by October 31, 2009. All checks and electronic ACH transactions reflecting routing and transit number 021909478 presented for payment after this date will be rejected and returned unpaid.
