Investment Club Certificates

Investment Club Certificates are a wise choice and provide a fixed, predictable rate of return. If you are able to commit funds for a specified period of time, you can enjoy higher fixed interest rates and the security of NCUA insurance up to $250,000.

Dividend Crediting:
Dividends on Investment Club Certificates are credited monthly.  As dividends are earned, they will be automatically deposited to your account.

Renewal:
At maturity, you may elect to renew your certificate for any term of maturity available at that time.  Certificates will be renewed at the prevailing dividend rate at the time of renewal.  If you do not wish to renew your certificate, the Credit Union will transfer all certificate funds to your share(savings) account.

Early Withdrawal Penalty:
Principal amounts withdrawn prior to the original date of maturity are subject to penalty.  The penalty on the amount withdrawn from Investment Club Certificates with an original maturity of one (1) year or less will equal ninety (90) days’ dividends.  If your account has an original maturity of more than one (1) year but less than five (5) years, the penalty will equal 120 days’ dividends.  If your account has an original maturity of five (5) years or more, the penalty will equal 180 days’ dividends.
